What is Support Your Sound.com?
Support Your Sound is a website set up by two like-minded individuals. Combined, the company has over 16 years experience of working within the heart of the Dance Music Industry in London and beyond. We started Support Your Sound to provide a service that we found was currently unavailable anywhere else in the World...
What’s our aim?
To help 'support the sound' that the record labels and individual artists have created and to represent their sound in the form of clothing and merchandise.
Background:
With the digital revolution in full swing, much of the music industry has had to re-think strategies that were once taken as the norm. With the ever-growing domination of iPods, Myspace, P2P and download programs such as Napster and Limewire, it’s an unfortunate fact that Vinyl and CD sales are slowly declining.
Yes, it's true that MP3’s are big business now and almost anyone can earn revenue from selling their music online. This is becoming easier and easier. But more often than not the income that the artists are receiving from their MP3 sales is tiny in comparison to the hard work that has been put in in studio time.
Support Your Sound is a Limited company run by creative and committed individuals, dedicated to music and the lifestyle that surrounds it. We have an extensive knowledge of the music we represent and have the contacts to make things work. Above all we have the inspiration and determination to see all projects and promotions through with success.
Our Concept:
To work closely with each record label and artist to help produce a quality merchandise range that is unique to each label. ‘We certainly don't take the cheapest t-shirts we can find, slap your logo on and hope they sell for a quick buck...’ We want to help each label create a unique merchandise range. T-shirts, Sweats, Hoodies, Girls tops, Caps, Stickers, Lighters and Records bags that record labels and their supporters (i.e. the music fan) will actually appreciate the quality of, therefore being more keen to be seen representing a label or artists sound.
